Time of Wonder Early Learning Center is a nonprofit entity dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality early childhood education and care to low-income families.

• One of the only childcare centers in the area that participates in the State Child Care Subsidy Program, Time of Wonder makes high-quality care more accessible to families in need.

• Serving children 8 weeks to 5 years old, the center recognizes the critical importance of the formative early years in shaping a child’s cognitive, emotional, and social development.

• We believe the health and well-being of children and families are critical for learning. Thus, our educators provide nurturing, developmentally appropriate care in a safe, supportive environment that promotes healthy growth.

• We also provide daily meals and snacks that follow established nutritional guidelines, because we believe every child has the right to nourishing food. A well-fed child is better equipped to learn, grow, and thrive—both in the classroom and in life.

The center is committed not only to nourishing children but also to supporting the entire family through access to nutritious meals, parent education, and essential services.

• We work closely with various community organizations (68 hours of hunger, The Giving Tree, Kids Free to Grow, Help Me Grow ME, ECCP, York Food Pantry, etc.) to support our children and families.

• We believe that when families are connected to their community and have access to supportive resources, children are more likely to experience positive outcomes in their development, learning, and overall well-being. Community partnerships enhance our ability to connect families with vital services, ensuring they can meet basic needs and build a strong foundation for long-term stability.
